The Shotgun is a weapon in Until Dawn, given to Chris by The Stranger in Chapter 8.
Usage[]
In Chapter 8 of the game, the Stranger will give the shotgun to Chris as a defense against the Wendigos as they go to find Josh who was last seen tied up in a shed. After they leave the shed the Stranger will die and Chris will have to use the shotgun to protect himself, whether by shooting explosive items or shooting the Wendigos themselves. Failing these prompts may lead to Chris's demise.
