Odessa Zion Segall Adlon (born June 17, 2000), known as Odessa A'zion, is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the CBS series Fam (2019) and the Netflix series Grand Army (2020). Her films include Hellraiser (2022), The Inhabitant (2022), Sitting in Bars with Cake (2023), and Fresh Kills (2024). She plays the role of Nina in the Until Dawn film.

Early Life[]

A'zion is from Los Angeles and also spent parts of her childhood in Boston, Massachusetts and Neufahrn, Germany. She is the daughter of actress Pamela Adlon and German director Felix Adlon. A'zion attended Charter High School of the Arts (CHAMPS).

Career[]

A'zion made her first significant screen appearance in 2017, playing the character Liv in the fifth season of Nashville. She later took on roles in the 2018 indie film Ladyworld and the 2020 single-take horror feature Let's Scare Julie. She also guest-starred in two episodes of the series Wayne.

Her first major television role came in 2019 when she portrayed Shannon, the younger sister of Nina Dobrev’s character, in the CBS sitcom Fam. That same year, it was revealed that A'zion would lead the 2020 Netflix series Grand Army as Joey Del Marco, a character adapted from Slut: The Play. Both she and co-star Odley Jean received praise from critics for their performances.

In 2021, she appeared as Lana in the indie comedy Mark, Mary & Some Other People. The following year, she starred in the reboot of Hellraiser and the psychological horror film The Inhabitant, while also taking on supporting roles in Am I Ok? and Good Girl Jane. In 2023, she co-starred with Yara Shahidi in the comedy-drama Sitting in Bars with Cake.

In December 2021, she was announced as part of the cast for Fresh Kills, a film written and directed by Jennifer Esposito, who also stars in it. In 2022, she played protagonist Riley McKendry in the Hellraiser reboot.

A'zion plays Nina Riley in the film adaptation of the video game Until Dawn, which premiered on April 25, 2025.

In September 2024, news broke that A'zion had joined the cast of Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme, alongside Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tyler, the Creator. The A24 production is reported to be the studio’s most expensive film to date and is scheduled for release on December 25, 2025.
