There are 79 clues throughout Until Dawn that will help the player uncover the mystery on Blackwood Mountain. While most of them serve to provide insight, extra dialogue, and collectible content, some impact the story and even the fate of a certain character.
Collecting all clues from their collective cluelines grants you the trophies You Opened Their Eyes (Mystery Man Clueline), The Tale of The Two Sisters (Twins Clueline) and The Fateful Descent (1952 Clueline).

Trivia[]
- Though not seen in the Mystery Man video linked above, clues number 31 and 32 are found in Chapter 2 during the bonus DLC segment (however, it's made a permanent segment in the remake). Both clues do not count for the trophy in the original game.
- Pig Head Note will always be found at the end of the segment, but you need to rotate the note for it to count as a clue.
- Cigar Stub (Matt) can be found right near the Axe Holder, right on the rocks.
- Jessica and Josh are the only protagonists to find no clues. They can come across totems, but neither finds clues during their time controlled by the player.
- The only clues that will be found regardless of the player's decisions are the Wanted Poster, the Axe and the latter four pages of The Stranger's Journal.
- In the remake, Beth's Head will also always be found unless using cheats/mods.
- The in-game description of numerous clues updates as the player progresses through the story and uncovers the mystery behind the clues, providing a final explanation.
