Sam climbs up to the top of a rock wall and makes her way back to the lodge. While heading back, she hears the screech of a Wendigo, and starts to run in fear.
She makes it to the back door of the lodge, and attempts to knock on it to alert anyone to help her in, and is shocked as Mike shows up behind her, revealing himself to be alive.
After unlocking the door, Sam asks Mike what happened to Josh and, regardless of his status, he'll affirm that the Wendigo got him. Sam goes to turn on the lights, only for Mike to turn them back off, claiming it's a bad idea to keep them on.
Sam and Mike walk towards the basement until they hear Chris, Ashley and Emily (if they are still alive) yelling and running away from the Wendigos.
- Emily will also push past Ashley if the Wendigo bite debacle happened, Emily wasn't shot and Ashley revealed the truth. This changes the order that they escape from the lodge, as Ashley will now leave the lodge last instead of Emily.
Sam and Mike then see Wendigos chasing after the group out of the basement (or Sam and Mike stumble upon them when they open the door if the three are dead). Mike runs upstairs with the others (if alive) and Sam will be given a choice to lock the door or just run with them. If she chooses to lock the door, the Wendigos will bang on it as she runs upstairs, indicating that it will break down the door. Sure enough, it will follow the group regardless of Sam's choice.
Sam, Mike, and the others run upstairs and attempt to leave the lodge, until they see Hannah the Wendigo hanging on a chandelier. Mike tells Sam to stay still, and she will be given a 'Don't Move' segment. If she moves Hannah will see her, but Mike will save Sam and Hannah throws Mike across the room.
Regardless, Hannah starts fighting the other Wendigos. As she's fighting them she overpowers one of them and throws it towards the furnace, releasing gas into the lodge.
Mike then notices and walks toward an exposed light bulb, while formulating a plan to incinerate the Wendigos with Sam by directing her attention towards the light's switch. While Hannah decapitates one of the other Wendigos, Sam steps on a loose plank in the wooden floor, causing it to creak, and Hannah notices, starting another 'Don't Move' segment.
- If Sam moves, the Wendigo will impale her, killing her.
- If Mike has been injured by Hannah earlier, she will hear him as he breaks the light bulb and slams him against another pillar. Chris, Ashley, and Emily will all escape if they are alive while Hannah is impaling Sam and Mike will take a lighter out of his pocket, blowing up the entire lodge including himself and the rest of the Wendigos.
- If Mike has not been injured by Hannah earlier, he will break the light bulb and Hannah notices him, causing her to slam him into a pillar and repeat the above actions. The group escapes if they are alive and Mike blows the lodge up with the lighter, incinerating himself and the Wendigos.
- If Sam stays still, Mike will break the light bulb which will attract Hannah's attention and only Chris will leave the lodge. If Mike is uninjured, Sam can then choose to save Mike, enact the plan early by running to the switch and killing everyone, or do nothing. If he was injured, no choice will be given and the "Do nothing" outcome always plays out.
- Ashley/Emily replaces Chris if he is dead.
Choices[]
Sam will yell, attracting Hannah's attention and starting a 'Don't Move' segment, and if she moves Hannah will kill her. Ashley or Emily (if she pushed Ashley, Ashley is dead or has already escaped) will escape the lodge. If she is killed, Ashley or Emily escapes (only if both of them and Chris are alive; the one that has not escaped yet), but Mike is now safe and will not be injured like if she dies earlier. If he was already injured, he will again blow up the lodge, himself and the Wendigos with the lighter, but if not, Mike will rush to the switch, looking at Sam and Hannah before turning on the switch, blowing up the entire lodge and what's left inside. Mike will be blown outside by the explosion, but will survive. If Sam does not move, Hannah will leave.
If Sam runs to the switch, a Wendigo will see her and attempt to catch her but is stopped by Hannah. Sam will turn on the switch and incinerate everyone remaining in the lodge including Mike, Ashley, Emily, and the rest of the Wendigos.
If Sam does nothing, Hannah will notice Mike and slam him against the pillar. This is also the outcome that occurs if the first 'Don't Move' segment is failed, without being given a choice.
If Sam failed the first 'Don't Move' segment or did nothing to save Mike, and Ashley and/or Emily survived, the one who is last (depending on who survived and whether or not Emily pushed Ashley) will begin to move backward towards the exit, but will be noticed by Hannah. Sam will then be given the same choice of saving Ashley/Emily, running to the switch or doing nothing as before.
The same thing happens as if Sam chose to save Mike. She yells, diverting Hannah's attention away from Emily/Ashley and one of them escapes the lodge (though survival is not guaranteed for the saved girl if the other girl and Chris survived, as the other one will escape first). The same 'Don't Move' segment that was skipped with Mike will start, and if Sam moves Hannah will kill her. If she is killed, the same thing happens as Ashley and Emily escape the lodge and Mike, who is now always injured, blows up the lodge.
If Sam runs to the switch, a Wendigo will see her and attempt to catch her but is stopped by Hannah. Sam will turn on the switch and incinerate everyone remaining in the lodge including Mike, Ashley, Emily, and the rest of the Wendigos.
If Sam does nothing again, Hannah catches Emily/Ashley, and perforates the girl's eyes as she screams. Unlike Mike, their death is instantly confirmed. The other girl, if alive, will escape.
If she is alive and the lodge has not been blown up, Sam will now be given the choice to hide behind a pillar or run to the switch.
Sam hides, but Hannah notices her and starts another 'Don't Move' segment. If both girls and Chris survived up until this point, including Sam saving Mike or one of the girls, Emily/Ashley escapes (the slower girl; if one died no one escapes here), and if Sam moves Hannah kills her. If killed, Mike once again blows up the lodge using the switch or the lighter, with no one running out as everyone has already escaped (excluding the girl who died if Sam did nothing to save her).
If Sam runs to the switch, a Wendigo will see her and attempt to catch her but is stopped by Hannah. Sam will turn on the switch and incinerate Mike, Emily/Ashley (if both of the girls and Chris survived up until this point including Sam saving someone; the first one will have escaped and the second will die in the explosion), and the rest of the Wendigos.
Finally, Sam will be given a last choice to hide again in a corner or run to the switch.
- If Mike was injured earlier, hiding again will be pointless as he cannot escape anyway and will be incinerated in the explosion off screen.
Sam hides, but Hannah again notices her and starts the last 'Don't Move' segment. Mike, if not injured, will now be in reach of escape, but will not leave immediately in case Sam dies. If she is killed, Mike once again blows up the lodge using the switch or the lighter. If not, Hannah leaves, Mike escapes if uninjured and Sam runs for the switch. If Mike was injured earlier, he still cannot escape even if Sam succeeds.
If Sam runs to the switch, a Wendigo will see her and attempt to catch her but is stopped by Hannah. Sam will turn on the switch and incinerate Mike and the rest of the Wendigos.
If Sam survives and the lodge is not blown up after every choice, it guarantees survival for Chris (always), Ashley/Emily (the first always if both are alive and the last or only one if Sam saved Mike or her) and Mike (if Sam did not fail the first 'Don't Move' segment and saved him), if they lived up to this point. The Run to Switch outcome then plays without choice as everyone is now safe. Sam runs toward the light switch as a Wendigo attempts to catch her, but is stopped and caught by Hannah. Sam turns on the switch, and incinerates Mike off screen (if he was injured and unable to escape) and the remaining Wendigos.
If at any point Sam died, Mike will turn on the switch in place of her if not injured. If he is injured, he will instead pull out his lighter and create a flame, sacrificing himself to kill the remaining Wendigos. Any survivors who have not yet escaped all escape at once before he blows the lodge up, meaning Chris, Ashley and Emily are guaranteed to survive if Sam dies (except one of the girls if Sam survived until the option to save Mike came up, she did nothing and then also did nothing to save Emily/Ashley).
After the lodge goes up in flames, the remaining survivors of the lodge finale will look up at the burning lodge and the helicopter that has come to rescue them, thanks to the ranger informed by Emily. Matt and/or Jessica, if alive, will also be located by the helicopter in the distance where they were last seen. If everyone is dead or if only Josh is alive, the helicopter will not locate anyone.
